Traditional Fabrics Of The IMT-GT
The Art & Culture section strives to instill an appreciation of the incredible wealth and diversity in the cultural heritage of the IMT-GT region. Being a very diverse region, encompassing as it does vast areas of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand and home to hundreds of different communities - it is only to be expected that the IMT-GT region would be a treasure trove of human creativity and ingenuity. In our previous issues we examined traditional dances and handicrafts of the IMT-GT region. This time around, in the 5 th issue, we focus on some of the exquisite traditional fabrics that have been lovingly hand-crafted in the IMT-GT region for generations.
